  • You report to clients and want white-label PDF reports and approval links they can open without an account

At a glance

AdEspresso is a long-running tool for Facebook and Instagram ads. Its pages describe four jobs: create campaigns and split tests quickly, manage them with optimisation rules, analyse results with clear dashboards and PDF reports, and collaborate through client approvals and onboarding links. The company's own press page records that Hootsuite acquired it in February 2017, and the site footer now reads AdEspresso LLC. The pages we checked did not mention Semrush.

Fly ROAS covers a different stretch of the work. It reads your brand, studies competitors' long-running ads, makes image and video ads from your real product photos, launches them in your own Meta ad account and runs the tests. With AdEspresso you bring the creatives and design the tests. With Fly ROAS the creatives and the testing method come built in.

One more signal worth noting: the blog posts featured in AdEspresso's footer date from late 2022, and its What's new page lists webinars from 2021, so ask which features are still actively developed.

Where Fly ROAS is different

  • Creative production included. Brand DNA reads your logo, colours, fonts, products, prices and brand voice from your website in about 90 seconds. Fly ROAS then places your real packshot into new scenes, and a pre-flight check flags any ad where the label, text or colours drift. The AdEspresso pages we checked describe no AI creative generation.
  • A testing method, not a test builder. Autopilot gives each test a 48-hour verdict, by default stops a test that spends 2× your target CPA without a sale (adjustable from 1.5× to 3×), and scales winners in +25%, +50% or +100% steps. Our 48-hour creative testing framework explains the thinking.
  • Caps and approvals by default. Spending stays inside a monthly cap and daily limit only you can raise. In the default "Ask me first" mode nothing goes live or scales without your approval, and an unanswered decision simply waits. The Flight Log explains every decision in plain English.
  • Competitor radar. Fly ROAS decodes the hooks, layouts and angles in competitors' long-running Meta Ad Library ads without copying their images, copy, logos or brand names.

Where AdEspresso is strong

  • Split testing made simple. You add several headlines, images and audiences, and AdEspresso builds every ad variation and reports on each variable. If you already produce plenty of creative, this is a quick way to run a structured split test.
  • Rules you control. Automatic Optimization can pause the ads costing the most, shift budget to top performers, raise or lower budgets, or start another campaign, based on triggers such as CPA, CPM, conversions or ROI.
  • Bulk and local campaigns. Grid Composer turns a spreadsheet into many ads across locations with custom fields such as store number, and one campaign can use several Pages. Automatic post promotion boosts organic posts that match filters you set, and dynamic ads run from your product catalogue.
  • Agency workflow. Approval links work for people without an AdEspresso account, onboarding requests let clients grant Page and ad account access without sharing passwords, and team members can get analytics-only or management access per ad account.
  • Reporting. A drag-and-drop PDF report builder with white-label options, tags for aggregated reporting across clients or projects, and scheduled reports.
  • Help from people. Paid campaign reviews and one-to-one coaching are listed on its marketing services page, and Enterprise includes a dedicated Facebook marketing consultant.

Pricing compared

AdEspresso's pricing page showed three plans on 26 October 2026, each with a free 14-day trial:

Plan Price shown Ad spend Notable extras
Starter $49/mo Up to $1,000 a month Unlimited ad accounts, essential features
Plus $99/mo Unlimited Up to 15 seats, campaign approval, multi-Page bulk creation, white label
Enterprise From $259/mo Unlimited Dedicated consultant, monthly live training, API access, unlimited seats

All plans list split testing analysis, automatic post promotion, scheduled reports and Automatic Optimization. The page did not show annual prices. Its marketing services page listed a campaign review at $27 and a one-hour coaching session at $197. Meta still bills your ad spend directly. Prices change, so check their site.

Fly ROAS starts with a 14-day test flight at $19.99 (₹1,939) with 100 credits, then Creator at $79/mo (₹7,663) with 400 credits, Pro at $149/mo (₹14,453) with 1,000 credits, Agency at $499/mo (₹48,403) with 4,000 credits or a custom Enterprise plan. Annual billing saves 20%. Credits pay only for AI generation: 2 per image ad and 20 per video ad. Autopilot is included in every plan, and Meta bills your ad spend directly.

Worked example: a brand spending $3,000 a month on Meta is past the Starter spend limit, so AdEspresso would need Plus at $99 a month, and the creatives still have to come from somewhere. On Fly ROAS, Creator is $79 a month at that spend, and its 400 credits cover about 200 image ads. Add your design costs to the AdEspresso side before you compare. The Meta ads budget calculator helps you size your spend first.

Who should choose which

Choose AdEspresso if you have a steady supply of creatives, like to design your own split tests and rules, and need client-friendly approvals and reports. It suits small agencies and in-house marketers who want something simpler than Ads Manager.

Choose Fly ROAS if you are a D2C brand on Meta and the hard part is producing on-brand creatives and testing them with discipline, inside limits you set.

Switching to Fly ROAS

The 14-day test flight costs $19.99 (₹1,939) and includes 100 credits (about 50 image ads), one brand and every feature: Brand DNA, competitor radar, AI creatives, one-click launch and Autopilot. Campaigns are created paused by default. There is no free tier or money-back guarantee, and the test flight renews to Creator unless you cancel. Compare every plan on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

Is Fly ROAS an AdEspresso alternative?

For Meta advertisers who want creatives made as well as tested, yes. Fly ROAS generates ads from your real product photos, launches them in your own ad account and tests them with Autopilot. If you already have creatives and mainly want split testing, rules and client reports, AdEspresso is built for that.

Is AdEspresso owned by Semrush?

We could not confirm that. AdEspresso's own press page records its acquisition by Hootsuite in February 2017, and its site footer reads AdEspresso LLC. None of the AdEspresso pages we checked on 26 October 2026 mentioned Semrush. Ask AdEspresso directly if ownership matters for your contract.

Which is cheaper, AdEspresso or Fly ROAS?

AdEspresso's Starter plan showed $49 a month for up to $1,000 of monthly ad spend, and Plus $99 a month for unlimited spend. Fly ROAS Creator is $79 (₹7,663) a month and includes 400 AI generation credits. The AdEspresso pages we checked describe no creative generation, so add design costs when you compare.

Does AdEspresso support Google Ads?

Its current pricing page and FAQ list Facebook and Instagram for campaign creation and analytics. Some older pages on its site still mention Google Ads guides and webinars, so confirm with AdEspresso before you rely on it for Google. Fly ROAS is built for Meta only.

Does AdEspresso have a free trial?

Yes. Every AdEspresso plan showed a free 14-day trial when we checked. Fly ROAS has no free tier. Its 14-day test flight costs $19.99 (₹1,939) with 100 credits and every feature.
